Man killed as car overturns several times in Ras Al Khaimah

The 55-year old lost control of his car and the vehicle overturned several times

Ras Al Khaimah: A 55-year-old Emirati man was killed in a traffic accident in Ras Al Khaimah on Thursday.

The Emirati victim, identified as S.S.A., was driving on Al Filyah Road in  Ras Al Khaiamh when he lost control of his vehicle, causing the car to overturn several times.

Brigadier Dr Mohammad Saeed Al Humaidi, director-general of the Central Operations of Ras Al Khaimah Police, said Ras Al Khaimah Police operations room received a call on Thursday, alerting about the accident. The motorist was pronounced dead at the accident site itself.

The motorist was driving at a high speed and lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road, the car overturned several times leading to the death of the driver, police investigations revealed.
