Dubai: More than 600 exotic cars and bikes will come together to attempt yet another Guinness World Record for Dubai at the Grand Parade on Friday.

The record attempt will be made for the largest number of car brands in a parade as well as the longest selfie relay.

Starting from Meydan at 3pm, the parade will move to Downtown Dubai, Shaikh Zayed Road, Jumeirah Beach Road, Umm Suqeim Road and Al Khail Road before heading back to Meydan at around 5pm.

Meydan has been transformed into a Motor Village that will host a wide array of motorsport entertainment and thrilling activities, ranging from the world’s first car lighting show by Infiniti to the Red Bull Car Park Drift.

Attendance for the parade is free and people can come up close with the exotic cars at the Meydan Motor Village after 5pm.

Held under the theme ‘Passion on Wheels’, the event is part of the Dubai Motor Festival.

Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the Dubai Motor Festival is held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
