Dubai: Parking will be free across all paid parking zones in Dubai, except the Deira Fish Market, on December 2 and 3, in celebration of the 41st UAE National Day.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has also announced that its customer service centres and vehicle testing centres will remain closed on December 2 and 3.

“All customer service centres will be closed during the National Day holiday for two days and will resume services on December 4. Paid parking zones all over Dubai will be free of charge except for the Fish Market and the multi-level parking lot and the paid service mode will be reactivated as of December 4,” said Dr Aysha Al Busamit, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication at RTA.

During the holidays, Dubai Metro will start service at 5.50am and continue running until midnight, while the express metro service will also be operational as normal starting 5.30am.

All major bus stations will be operational from 6am to 12 midnight, while the feeder buses will be available till 1am.

Intercity buses will be available 24 hours from Al Ghubaiba, while buses will be available from Sabkha, Union Square from 6am to midnight. Deira City Centre and Karama Stations will operate till 10pm.

Water buses and abras will be operating from 7am to 10pm, Water Taxi from 10am to 10pm, and Ferry Dubai from 9am to 7pm.

Driving institutes such as Emirates Driving Institute (Head Office and Al Qusais), Belhasa Centre (Jebel Ali), Al Ahli Centre, Dubai International Driving Centre, Galadari Centre, and Drive Dubai will be closed during the two-day holiday.

Belhasa Centre (Nad Al Hamar, Al Wasl) will be operating during the holiday but will provide registration services only.
