Free parking, Metro timings in Dubai on Thursday
The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai also announced metro timings for public holiday
Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that parking will be free on Thursday to mark the Islamic New Year 1440H.
“All public parking will be free of charge except for multi-storey parkings during the Hijri New Year on September 13, 2018,” said the RTA.
Parking tariffs will resume on Saturday September 15, 2018.
The RTA Customers’ Happiness Centres will be closed on September 13 and will reopen on September 16. However, the smart customer service centre in Umm Rumool will work round-the-clock as usual.
Metro Timings
The Dubai Metro Station’s Red Line will operate on Thursday from 5am to 1am of the following day while the Green Line will run from 5.30am to 1am of the next day.
The Dubai Tram will run from 6am to 1am of the following day.
