Dubai: Parking across all paid parking zones will be free on Thursday to mark the Hijri New Year, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced.
However, motorists will have to pay at the Deira Fish Market car park and the multi-level parking facilities managed by RTA.
All of Dubai’s public transport modes including buses, Metro, tram and marine transport will operate without any change in timings during the holiday.
On Thursday, RTA’s vehicle registration and testing centres, except for the Al Ghusais Quick Registration Centre and the Dubai Mall Platinum Registration Centre, will be closed.
