Abu Dhabi: The Department of Transport (DoT) in Abu Dhabi announced free parking in public parking bays on the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). The parking will be free on Sunday and till 7:59am on Monday, according to a DoT press release issued on Wednesday.
The DoT called upon the motorists not to park their vehicles in prohibited areas and not to block vehicles or traffic flow. The department has also urged the public to adhere to the regulations related to the resident-permit parking bays from 9pm to 8am.
The DoT’s customer service centres all over Abu Dhabi will be closed during the holiday and will resume work on Monday.
