Three accidents happened in the past 17 hours, according to Dubai’s chief traffic prosecutor
Dubai: Four people have been killed and 12 injured in three separate accidents on Dubai's roads in the past 17 hours, according to Dubai’s chief traffic prosecutor.
Following the last accident, a minibus driver was placed under provisional detention for alleged negligence and inattentiveness which led to the death of two African passengers and injuring six others who were traveling in his vehicle.
In another accident which happened around 12.45am, an Asian driver died immediately after jumping a red signal.
The third accident happened ahead of the Al Barsha-Dubai Police Academy junction at 9.30pm on Wednesday evening.
In this accident, a Gulf national, driving a sports utility vehicle accidentally hit another broken down car which was stopped ahead of him.
