Emirati dies after being run over in Sharjah

Sharjah: A 18-year-old Emirati youth died on Friday after a run over accident in Al Khan area in Sharjah on Thursday night, Sharjah Police told Gulf News.

The Emirati youth identified as O.M.A.N. received serious injuries after being run over by a vehicle on Thursday night while crossing the road from an undesignated area.

The Emirati youth was hit by a speeding car while crossing the road. The Emirati youth was transferred to the ICU at Al Qasimi Hospital, but died shortly afterwards. Sharjah Police have launched an investigation and the driver has been taken into custody.
