Dubai’s RTA honours taxi drivers for exemplary conduct and integrity

“Road Ambassadors” initiative recognises drivers for cleanliness, courtesy, and returning Lost Items

Duhai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recognised 2,172 taxi drivers across the emirate for their outstanding professional conduct, moral integrity, and commitment to high service standards as part of its “Road Ambassadors” initiative.

The honoured drivers were commended for adhering to traffic laws, maintaining both personal and vehicle cleanliness, displaying respectful customer service, and returning lost belongings to their rightful owners. This recognition reflects RTA’s ongoing efforts to inspire excellence, elevate service quality, and strengthen public trust in Dubai’s transport system.

Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA’s Public Transport Agency, said: “This recognition covered drivers from 2024 and the first half of 2025. The initiative has fostered a healthy spirit of competition among drivers and operating companies, driving improvements in service quality and customer satisfaction. It contributes directly to enhancing the overall commuting experience and raising the quality of life in the emirate.”

Bahrozyan praised the dedication and professionalism of Dubai’s taxi drivers, acknowledging their vital role in supporting RTA’s mission to provide safe, efficient, and reliable transport solutions that meet the city’s growing mobility needs.

The honoured drivers expressed their gratitude for the initiative, viewing it as a reflection of RTA’s appreciation and a motivating force to continue delivering customer-centric, law-abiding service.
