Dubai: As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing traffic safety and promoting sustainable development in Dubai, the Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA) has inaugurated a 91-metre pedestrian and bicycle bridge on Sheikh Rashid Street.

Strategically located to serve key areas, the bridge connects Al Mankhool and Al Jafiliya, serving over 22,000 people daily.

Maritime design

From diving and commercial vessels complementing the Sheikh Rashid Tunnel, the city's maritime heritage has inspired the bridge.

Designed with accessibility in mind, it features elevators and stairs on both sides for people of determination and the wider public.
