Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced expected delays on Emirates Road towards Sharjah on Friday, May 2, 2025, due to ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation works.

Commuters are advised of weekend traffic delays on Emirates Road towards Sharjah, specifically between Dubai-Al Ain Road and the Al Amardhi–Al Awir Road intersection.

Delays are expected every weekend from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm, continuing until August 30, 2025.

The RTA urges motorists to plan their journeys in advance to avoid delays and ensure timely arrival.
