Dubai: A serious barrier accident was causing traffic congestion on Sheikh Zayed Road, opposite Oasis Center, in the direction towards Sharjah, Dubai Police had tweeted on Friday night.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. Traffic seemed to have cleared up within an hour after the incident.
