Dubai: The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) app’s Dewa Store is offering online vouchers worth Dh400 for subscribing to a product, or 15 per cent discounts on pet transportation, when moving within the UAE.
The Dewa Smart App introduced this new service apart from the ‘pay utility bills’ or ‘calculate tariffs’ section and others services.
Through the Dewa Store, users can avail of discounts on telecommunications packages, bank services, insurance, smart-home systems, maintenance companies, consultants, and logistics companies from Dewa’s partners.
“Dewa’s role is not just limited to providing electricity and water services according to the highest standards of quality, efficiency and reliability. Dewa plays a role as a socially-responsible government organisation that makes every effort to contribute to promoting a happier lifestyle,” Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, managing director and CEO of Dewa, said.
The Dewa Store was developed after feedback from its customers and partners, Al Tayer said.
Dewa Store is one of the many functions of the Dewa smart app. Customers can use the app to avail of all of Dewa’s services, without having to visit customer happiness centres.
