Child critical after accident

Sharjah: A four-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being hit by a car on Al Taawun Road in Sharjah.

According to a police source, the victim identified as A.A.M.R., was hit by a speeding car while crossing the road.

The incident took place after the school bus dropped the child home. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene of the incident.

The child was moved to Al Qasimi Hospital, then to a hospital in Dubai as his condition worsened.

The driver is in custody at Buhaira police station.
