Al Khan Road to be partially closed
Al Khan Road will be partially closed from Sunday to Tuesday
Sharjah Al Khan Road will be partially closed from Sunday to Tuesday in the area between Industrial Area 3 and Industrial Area 9, a senior official announced Thursday.
The official, from the traffic engineering section at the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (DPW), said the closure was needed to carry out maintenance on the sewerage network.
DPW, in coordination with Sharjah Police, explained that traffic will be diverted during the three-day closure.
"The closure would be conducted in two faces. The first phase includes the partial closure from Al Khan Road towards industrial area No 3, while the second phase includes partial closure from Al Khan Road towards industrial area No 9," said the DPW official.
The official has urged motorists to be cautions while driving in these areas, to follow the diversion signs and reduce their speed.
