Airport Tunnel to be partially closed on Fridays
Two lanes in each direction will be closed for 22 weeks for maintenance work

Dubai: Airport Tunnel will be partially closed for traffic on Fridays beginning June 29, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Thursday.
Facilitating maintenance work for the busy tunnel, the RTA will close two lanes in each direction every Friday from 12.30am to 11am on Fridays till November 16.
The Friday night traffic in the tunnel will be disrupted for 22 weeks, allowing workers to carry out upgrade of the tunnel.
The RTA has urged road users to adhere to traffic instructions and follow road signs.
