Abu Dhabi Police to distribute meals to motorists
Initiative aims to reduce the occurrence of car accidents before iftar

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi police will distribute 33,000 meals to fasting road-users in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region.
Police will also distribute meals to travellers on Al Ain-Ghuweifat borders in coordination with the border department.
Major General Mohammad Bin Al Awadi Al Menhali, Director of Police Operations, said the initiative, being carried out by community police and Abu Dhabi Police Patrols, aims to avoid car accidents before the period of iftar.
