Abu Dhabi: New Mawaqif paid parking times will be observed during Ramadan as motorists will be subjected to tariffs starting from 9am to 4pm and from 10.30pm until 2.30am, the Department of Transport (DoT) announced.

Mawaqif fees will remain unchanged during Ramadan.

The move comes as part of the DoT’s strategy to provide effective car parking solutions to the public in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the aim of facilitating their parking and travel needs during Ramadan.

Ramadan is expected to start on July 9.
