Three killed in ADCO oilfield accident in Western Region

Abu Dhabi: Three people were killed and one injured in an accident at Shah oilfield in the Western Region at 8.30am on Tuesday.

The condition of the injured person, who has been hospitalised for treatment, was described as stable.

The affected area and the employees working there was secured, and emergency procedures put in place immediately, officials said.

Emergency response teams from Shah, Asab and main office were called in simultaneously along with the Crisis Management Team to handle the incident and coordinate rescue action with Adnoc and the concerned government bodies.
