Superman outfit for Revilla

Making himself look like a Philippine Superman, actor Bong Revilla will wear the outfit he used in a film entitled Captain Barbell, when he campaigns for the senate in 2004, his managers told Gulf News.

During the promotion of his film at the start of the Metro Manila Film Festival, Revilla has been wearing the red and yellow body fitting outfit with a cape. He is not new in politics. He was the former governor of Cavite in southern Luzon. His father, Senator Ramon Revilla, was also a former actor.

Steeped in campaign gimmick, the good looking and young Revilla invited 1,300 street children and orphans from different charitable institutions in the National Capital Region as his guests at the premiere night of his film on December 25. He sent the invitation to Social Welfare Secretary Dinky Soliman.

Last year, he also brought street children to watch his film entitled, Agi-mat, a lucky charm of my grandma, in the same film festival.
