Seventy outstanding students from Abu Dhabi Men's College were given recognition during a special function yesterday.

The students, from the certificate, diploma, higher diploma and degree programmes, had recently completed their studies at the college, said an official, and to mark this success a special 'Recognition Day' was held.

The objective was to encourage current students to maintain the high level of performance here and later at their future work places, so that their careers are nothing short of brilliant, said Dr Tayeb Kamali, Vice Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology and Director of Abu Dhabi Men's College.

Dr Kamali also appreciated the dedication, work and attention put in by teachers and college staff.

He also distributed Chancellor's Awards and Industrial Awards to winning students.

Four students received the Chancellor's Award - Mustafa Ahmed Alhaj M. Ali Alhendi, Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Engineering Management, Saeed Fadhel Saeed Saif Al Darmaki, Higher Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology, Rashed Abdulla Al Bu Flasa, Diploma in Computer Information Processing, and Fariq Almal Mohammed Almal Mohamed, Certificate in General Business.

The Industrial Award was won by two students - Saleh Ahmed Saleh Alawi Al Masabi, Higher Diploma in Avionics, and Saeed Fadhel Saeed Saif Al Darmaki, Higher Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
