Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, on Tuesday inaugurated the 29 edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair.

Along the sidelines of the inauguration, Dr Shaikh Sultan presented his latest book Hadeeth Al Zakirah as well as the English version of his previous book, Sard Al Zatt.

Speaking to the media, Dr Shaikh Sultan said that next year he will present a new book to mark the book fair's 30 anniversary.

A total of 788 publishers from 53 countries are expected to participate in this year's book fair at the Expo Centre.
