Sharjah Authority for Electricity and Water intensifies inspection campaign

Sharjah: The Sharjah Authority for Electricity and Water has intensified its inspection campaign for violations in the usage of water, water tank contaminations and illegal water links in residential, commercial and industrial areas, and fining the violators after warning them and giving out awareness flyers.

Ibrahim Rashid Bin Dimas, Deputy Director General of the Authority said that water usage has to be restricted.

He added that the usage of this wealth must be in a conscious manner, while instilling good usage practices in children.

He concluded that using water hoes in washing cars and building areas is not advisable and should not be practiced, and that the waste in water usage will increase the water bill.
