Dubai: These dramatic images show how disaster nearly struck on Al Ras Road when a driver almost crashed through a car park wall four stories off the ground.

Debris was sent plummeting into the busy Deira street with the car itself left on the brink of a sheer drop.

Gulf News reader Hassan M was at the scene and submitted the pictures.

“Thank God no-one was down there in that area,” he wrote, suggesting that, amazingly, no-one was injured.

Hassan sent the images on Thursday and added that the dramatic incident took place at 8.30am.
