Rulers receive dignitaries to mark festive occasion

Well-wishers, citizens join in offering Eid greetings

Sharjah/Ras Al Khaimah: Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the emirates received well-wishers yesterday on the second day of Eid.

His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, received a group of well-wishers at the Badea' Palace in Sharjah.

The well-wishers included Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, Speaker of the Federal National Council, a number of dignitaries and citizens.

Accepting Eid greetings along with Shaikh Sultan were Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and a number of Shaikhs and senior local officials.

His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, also received a large gathering at his Al Khazam Palace. The well-wishers included Al Ghurair, Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, Minister of Education, and a number of senior state officials, tribal members, citizens and residents.

His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, received at Al Remaila Palace a large number of well-wishers.

His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, yesterday received at the Al Zaher Palace groups of well-wishers. Shaikh Humaid also received Shaikhs, dignitaries, heads of government departments and other well-wishers.

Shaikh Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Umm Al Quwain Crown Prince, also received well-wishers. Among those who came to offer their greetings were consuls of Arab, Islamic and Foreign countries.

Greetings to Khalifa

President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan yesterday received a telephone call from Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, President of Saudi Arabia's General Commission of Tourism and Antiquities, who exchanged greetings with Shaikh Khalifa.
