Reports of intrigue in the palace are exaggerated

The decision of the former king of Afghanistan to delay his much-hyped visit to Kabul has given rise to a number of conspiracy theories. It was recently suggested that there exists a bitter rivalry between his youngest son, Mirwais, and his Canadian-educated grandson, Mostapha.
