Ras Al Khaimah worker allegedly set himself on fire

Ras Al Khaimah: An Asian worker set himself on fire at work premises located in Khor Khwuair industrial area on Friday, Gulf News has learnt.

The worker sustained first and second degree burns to different parts of his body.

Police patrols, a civil defence team and an ambulance rushed to the scene of the incident immediately after receiving a report on the incident.

The victim was transferred to hospital for treatment.

Ras Al Khaimah Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are waiting for the victim to improve his health in order to take his testimony about the incident.
