Dubai: To celebrate the arrival of Ramadan, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has adorned the city's key thoroughfares with the 'Ramadan in Dubai' logo, contributing to the festive atmosphere of the #RamadanInDubai campaign.

Videos shared by the Government of Dubai Media Office highlight the logo displayed on information boards within Dubai's intelligent traffic systems, adding to the festive ambiance across the city.

A unified celebration of Ramadan

Brand Dubai, under the directives of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, has launched the second edition of the #RamadanInDubai campaign. The initiative is in partnership with various government, semi-government, and private sector entities, uniting them in a grand celebration of Ramadan.

Exciting events and experiences

The campaign showcases Dubai’s unique Ramadan experiences through an array of events and initiatives, including spectacular light displays, immersive cultural festivals, and exciting performances.

In collaboration with RTA, Dubai’s roads are transformed with stunning Ramadan-themed decorations, while visitors arriving in Dubai are welcomed with a special #RamadanInDubai stamp on their passports, in partnership with GDRFA.

Range of activities for all

This year’s campaign promises an exciting range of activities, from iftar and suhoor at breathtaking venues to exclusive shopping promotions and family-friendly entertainment. Special Ramadan markets, outdoor parks, and cultural performances will also bring the city’s festive spirit to life.

Giving Back and community unity

In addition to the festivities, the campaign emphasises giving back, with humanitarian efforts such as meal distribution and charitable causes. The beloved Ramadan Cannon tradition, managed by Dubai Police, will signal iftar times across eight fixed and 17 rotating locations. Public spaces will also serve as gathering points where people from all backgrounds unite to share the warmth of the season.
