Abu Dhabi: The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has issued a circular specifying the official working hours for federal government employees during Ramadan 1445 AH.

As per the circular, the working hours for ministries and federal entities during Ramadan are set from 9am to 2.30pm, Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, working hours are reduced, with employees working from 9am to 12 noon, unless the nature of their work demands a different schedule.

FAHR has also stated that ministries and federal entities can continue to implement their adopted flexible working policies during Ramadan, ensuring they align with the stipulated daily working hours.

Additionally, employees may work remotely on Fridays, with a cap where up to 70 per cent of an entity's workforce can work from home, subject to established guidelines.

FAHR has extended its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the UAE's leadership, government, citizens, residents, and the Arab and Islamic nations, praying for continued health and prosperity on this significant occasion.
