Presidential Court mourns Rashid bin Maktoum

With profound sorrow the Presidential Court yesterday mourned the sad demise of Sheikh Rashid bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, son of Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The Court offered condolences to the Al Maktoum family on their loss.

The Court of Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai yesterday announced the death of Sheikh Rashid, who died yesterday following a tragic accident.

Sheikh Rashid was laid to rest here yesterday in Bur Dubai graveyard.

Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance and Industry Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, sheikhs, senior officials and a large number of citizens performed funeral prayers for the soul of the deceased at Za'beel Mosque in Dubai.
