Authorities need to take extra care of Dubai's greenery in the scorching summer

I have been a resident of Dubai for the past 21 years. I have to admit that Dubai is one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in the world.
The efforts by the municipality are worth appreciation. Having all facilities at hand, I find myself fortunate to be living in this part of the world.
Although I commend the efforts of authorities, I still feel that there is a lot more to be done. I love Nature and greenery. But, recently when I was walking near a shopping mall in Deira, I was disappointed to see the state of some plants and trees.
To my amazement, the plants had turned brownish-yellow, as a result of lack of water and due to exposure to extreme levels of heat. The leaves had turned dry and rough and the plant was lifeless.
This is not a situation that is limited to a particular area; I have noticed such negligence in almost all areas where such trees and plants exist.
Extra care
I request the authorities to kindly take this state of affairs into consideration. I suggest that extra care be taken in the summer to protect these plants from the scorching heat. The plants also require regular trimming, and increased amounts of water to keep them fresh and hydrated in soaring temperatures.
Further, I would like to bring to the notice of the authorities that quite often, the sprinklers are not positioned appropriately, and instead of watering the plants, the water is wasted.
As a consequence of such actions and lack of proper care, the plants which were meant to add to the beauty of the city are now offering nothing but the most unpleasant view. I request that immediate measures be taken to prevent Nature from dying and to keep the beauty of the city alive!
