Abu Dhabi: The Series 269 Big Ticket Draw has awarded prizes with a total value of Dh295,000 to four lucky individuals from Bangladesh and India. Abdul Nazer, who won Dh100,000, is a 49-year-old gold shop employee, originally from Kerala, and has been a resident of Dubai since 2012. For the past three years, he has purchased Big Ticket entries every month, pooling together with a group of 20 friends.

“Big Ticket is incredibly popular among Indians, especially within the Malayali community. When I received the winning call, I was overwhelmed with happiness—it was an unforgettable moment.” He plans to share the prize with his friends and set aside the remainder for his wife. Despite his big win, his enthusiasm for Big Ticket remains undiminished: “Yes, I absolutely plan to continue buying Big Ticket entries.”

Another Indian, Akash Raj, who won Dh70,000, is a 30-year-old insurance underwriter, also from Kerala. He has been a resident of Dubai for the past seven years. For the last four years, he has been occasionally purchasing Big Ticket entries with a group of 10 friends. “When I received the winning call, I initially thought it was a scam, so I waited for the confirmation email to be sure,” he shared. “Now, I couldn’t be happier! It’s such an amazing feeling to win.”

He plans to share the prize equally among his friends and is already looking forward to buying more Big Ticket entries in the future. His message to fellow participants is one of encouragement: “Keep on buying—your chance to win will come one day.”

A third winner, Mohammed Haneff, who bagged Dh75,000, is a 59-year-old car showroom owner, originally from Bangalore, India. He has been a resident of Dubai for the past 15 years. Since 2021, he has been consistently purchasing Big Ticket entries every month. “I was absolutely surprised when I received the call—it was a moment I had been hoping for,” he said. “It was truly an incredible and unforgettable experience.”

The fourth lucky individual, MD Mehedi, won Dh50,000. Originally from Bangladesh, he is currently residing in the UAE. He purchased his lucky winning ticket during the second week of November, and his excitement knows no bounds.
