Dubai: Indian expat Suresh Pavaiah has won the Dh3 million DSF Grand Prize on his 45th birthday in the latest Dream Dubai campaign.

Originally from Tamil Nadu, India, the 45-year-old has been living in the UAE since 2006 and now plans to use his prize money to launch a business in technical services.

An overjoyed Suresh said he chanced upon Dream Dubai on Facebook and was drawn to its ‘shop and win’ proposition.

After taking part in several campaigns, he finally strucky lucky.

“It still feels surreal,” he said. “I had participated multiple times before, but this time, fortune was definitely in my favour—especially with the draw taking place on my birthday. It was the best gift I could have ever received. This win will help me turn my long-standing dream of starting a business in the UAE into reality.”

Suresh had purchased two ‘Modesh Shopping Cards’ during a promotion.
