Pakistan artist Munni Begum to sing at Sharjah event

Sharjah: Pakistani folk singer Munni Begum will perform at a gala dinner at Sharjah’s Asian Palace restaurant on Thursday.

Event organiser Shad Ali expects a huge turnout as the artist is famous for her Urdu Ghazal style of singing.

Begum is currently on a performing tour in India. She has been signing since the 1970s and was awarded Pakistan’s civil award ‘Pride of Performance’ in 2008.
