‘Our Environment’ photography competition honours winners

Abu Dhabi: Emirates Heritage Club yesterday held a ceremony to honour the winners of the ‘Our Environment’ photography competition for 2012.

Around 225 photographers submitted a total of 910 photographs for the contest.

During the closing ceremony, Dr Mariam Al Shinasi, Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs at the Ministry of Environment and Water, and Saeed Ali Al Mena’i, Acting Director of activities and competitions, honoured the winners before an exhibition was held to showcase the top 76 entries.
