The Omani government yesterday denied a report that a US reconnaissance plane had crashed in the Omani territories late on Friday.
An official source at the Ministry of Defence yesterday described the report, broadcast by the Doha-based Al Jazeera Satellite TV Channel on Friday, as "untrue."
"No such accident has occurred," the source said.
