Deep Sen Gupta of India, Noroozi Omid of Azerbaijan, Walid Aziz Jawad (Iraq), Safarli Eltaj (Iran) are in the second spot with 3.5 points.
Nijat scored a fine win over Saeed Ishaq in 36 moves. While Atousa was fortunate to claim the full point when his opponent blundered in king and pawn ending.
