Municipality aims to create awareness
Dubai: Beachgoers will find all the information they need on do's and don'ts when going to Dubai's beaches, on new signboards put up along the emirate's coastline ahead of Eid Al Adha holidays.
Dubai Municipality has installed new signboards designed to create awareness among beachgoers at public open beaches.
Alya Abdul Rahim Al Harmoudi, Head of Coastal Zone and Waterways Management Section in the municipality, said the public beaches in the emirate have been witnessing, since the beginning of winter last month, a significant increase in the number of visitors, especially during the weekends.
"These signboards have been designed in a distinctive umbrella-shaped style to suit the coastal environment and have been distributed in all the public beaches in the emirate," she said.
