Motorcyclist dies after being hit by vehicle in Sharjah

Sharjah: An 18-year-old student died in a collision between a motorcyle and a vehicle in the Muwaileh area of Sharjah on Thursday morning, an official at Sharjah Police told Gulf News.

Sharjah Police received a call around 9.30am on Thursday reporting the incident.

The motorcyclist died from his injuries while he was being transported to hospital.

The driver of the vehicle has been arrested for further investigation.

A case has been filed at Al Hira Police station.
