Mother, daughter escape death in horrific car crash
Emirati woman and her four-year-old daughter had a miraculous escape when their car split into two
Fujairah: A 31-year-old Emirati woman and her four-year-old daughter had a miraculous escape when their car split into two after it hit a cement barrier and rammed a palm tree before hitting a lamp post on a road in Khor Fakkan, the police said.
A Fujairah Police official told Gulf News that the accident happened on Friday evening as the woman driver, who was reportedly speeding, lost control over the vehicle while she was driving from Dibba-Fujairah to Khor Fakkan.
The car hit the cement barrier, rammed a palm tree and then hit a lamp post. The force of the impact caused the vehicle to split into two but the passenger and driver miraculously only sustained injuries, the official said. The motorist received minor injuries while her daughter was seriously injured.
