Mohammad opens Emirates Media Forum
Event aims to encourage new ideas, creativity and tackle challenges to the industry
Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated the Emirates Media Forum on Wednesday.
The second edition of the forum, launched by the Dubai Press Club, aims to shed light on current local media issues.
The forum hopes to support the local media, encourage new ideas and creativity, by opening discussion to discover areas of strength and challenges in the industry.
It will also discuss nationalisation of the media, content, propaganda warfare and the future of media in the next 10 years.
