Midnight tryst goes sour

A man enjoying a midnight rendezvous with his girlfriend at her workplace ended up behind bars after being found guilty of trespassing.

He was sentenced to a month in jail by the Dubai Court of Misdemeanours. The girlfriend, a maid, also got the same sentence followed by deportation.

The 37-year-old Pakistani struck up an affair with the 35-year-old Indonesian maid and the two decided on a rendezvous in her room. The owner of the house, however, caught the couple together and blew the whistle.
