Dubai: Mercato is hosting a special Jungle Jive show for families through a live performance featuring Cartoon Network characters.
The Media Centre of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and the organiser of DSS, is inviting families to Mercato on Jumeirah Beach Road to allow them to interact with characters from the live show, Jungle Jive.
Jungle Jive brings to life favourite Cartoon Network characters such as Dexter and her sister Dee Dee, the muscular Johnny Bravo, the Powerpuff Girls — Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup — and their nemesis, Mojo Jojo.
The action begins when Dexter, Dee Dee and Johnny Bravo decide to set out on a holiday, deep in the heart of an African jungle, where they run into the people of the native Tumba tribe and also The Powerpuff Girls.
Just when they begin to have a blast, the evil Mojo Jojo enters the scene disguised as a witch doctor. He attempts to poison them all and the characters work together to put to end his wicked schemes.
Kids still have until Monday (August 11) to see their favourite Cartoon Network buddies live in action as they team up to take on Mojo Jojo during the 25-minute-long adventure, three times daily at 4.30pm, 6.30pm and 8pm daily.
The 17th edition of DSS will run untilSeptember 5 this year, under the theme, “The Fun Side of Summer”.
