Mecca Cola ties up with Mojarrad

Last updated:

Mecca Cola International has entered into a venture with Mojarrad General Trading Est. to market its carbonated beverages in the Middle East.

The promoters are also considering the setting up of a production plant in Jebel Ali Free Zone. The project was first conceived, and launched, in France.

The uniqueness of the venture is that part of the future proceeds are being set aside for humanitarian purposes, including those related to providing care for children in Palestine.

"As we have received the rights to establishing Mecca Cola M.E. - which provides services and distribution to Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Jordan and Libya - we would be building other production plants in various countries," said Dr. Khalid Al Mahamid, chief executive of Mojarrad General Trading.

"We hope this project will be a big success and be well received by Arabs and foreigners residing everywhere, especially because it supports all just and humanitarian causes."
