Consolidated Shipping Services (CSS) overcame Fly Emirates Cricket Club by 66 runs in the Dulsco Ramadan Floodlit Cricket tournament at the Dubai Cricket Council ground.

The victory was sweet revenge for CSS, who were recently beaten by Fly Emirates, in the Emirates airlines Gold Cup tournament.

Emirates, despite winning the toss elected to field. CSS got off to a bad start with both their openers back in the pavilion for just five runs. Ali Atif and Javed Ismail bowled brilliantly. With the score on 12, Atif trapped the consistent Asghar Ali leg before for a duck.

Syed Maqsood, who joined Saqib Ali, added 70 runs for the fourth wicket before Ali was stumped by Gaurav Arora off Sandesh Deshi for 33.

Chasing the target, Emirates took off badly. They struggled against the bowling of Mohammed Naseem and Maqsood. Amjad Javed was the first to go at the score of 16, bowled by Naseem for 8. One-drop Raveendra Kumar was trapped leg before by Naseem for a duck.
