Man who plunged from balcony of Sharjah building dies

Another man is fighting for life after fall

Sharjah: A 55-year-old Pakistani man who plunged from the balcony of his fourth-floor apartment in Al Majera on Tuesday has died, a Sharjah Police official told Gulf News.

Police say the man, identified as M.M.A.M., fell onto a car. He was admitted to Al Kuwaiti Hospital in critical condition and was later transferred to Al Qasimi Hospital after his condition deteriorated.

It was not clear whether the man was attempting to commit suicide. Sharjah Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, a 33-year-old Bangladeshi man, identified as R.A.Z., is fighting for his life after a fall in a Dubai free zone area on Friday. The man was taken to Al Kuwaiti Hospital and was later transferred to Al Qasimi Hospital’s ICU where his condition is described as critical.
