Man injured after truck’s tyre explodes

Sharjah: A 26-year-old man was severely injured after a truck’s tyre he was inflating exploded, an official at Sharjah Police said

The incident took place on Monday at around 12pm when a truck driver stopped at a workshop in the industrial area of Sharjah for tyre inflation.

One of the truck’s tyre exploded while the mechanic was inflating the tyre. The Pakistani mechanic was moved to Al Qasimi Hospital in a critical condition.
