Man dies after falling from family’s Sharjah villa

Police probe circumstances surrounding Sharjah man’s death

Sharjah: A  man died on Monday morning  after he fell from second floor of his family villa in Sharjah, an official at Sharjah Police told Gulf News.

The victim, a 77-year-old Iranian identified as S.S.A.S., fell from the second floor of  his family’s villa in Al Yash area in Sharjah..

Family members told police that he  lost his balance and fell to the ground head first.

Police operations room received a call around 10am reporting an accident involving an elderly man. He was said to have fallen from the second floor of a villa .

Paramedics rushed to the scene but the victim is believed to have died due to the impact of the fall.

The  body was moved to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy to establish the cause of his death and whether any foul play was involved.

The case is with police  and witnesses have been summoned.
