Man dies after being run over in RAK

Ras Al Khaimah: An Asian pedestrian died after being run over on Al Khazan Road on Friday night, Colonel Ali Elkum, Director of the Traffic and Patrol Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police, said. A speeding vehicle driven by an Asian motorist ran over the man while he was crossing the road from an undesignated area.

The body of the victim was moved to the hospital morgue, while the driver who caused the accident has been taken into police custody for questioning.
