Majid inaugurates 'Character Dubai' fair
Dubai: Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, inaugurated the Dubai International Character and Licensing Fair "Character Dubai" and the Dubai World Games Expo (DWGE) on Tuesday at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Both three-day events are being held for the first time in the Middle East and aim at the promotion, intimation and licensing of characters and the electronic games industry. The fairs are expected to attract over 350 professional companies from around the world, 15,000 trade visitors and dealers and DWGE is expect to draw over 10,000 participants for the electronic games championship.
Seminars, conferences and workshops on character licencing and the game industry were also held.
